Timothy G. Redmond

For more than 30 years, Tim has been pursuing his passion for helping people plan for and address their financial goals. He has helped hundreds of clients with a wide array of financial needs, including individual and employer-sponsored retirement plans, life insurance and comprehensive wealth management. During his extensive career, Tim has come to specialize in small business succession planning and retirement plans, investment management and financial planning, including charitable giving strategies.

Tim is an active volunteer with Special Olympics Southern California, previously serving on the board of directors as chairman. With his son, he lobbied in Washington, DC, as a delegate for Special Olympics International. In addition, he traveled to Greece and Morocco in support of the international Special Olympics movement. He is also on the board at Novo Mission, Inc., a non-profit organization that ignites Gospel movements through its 600+ missionaries around the world. He has accompanied Novo directors on trips to visit and encourage staff members in the United Kingdom, Ukraine, Romania and Lebanon, offering his financial specialization along the way.

Tim and his wife Cathy have been married for over 30 years. They are devoted to their family, which includes six adult children and six grandchildren. In his spare time, Tim enjoys tending his expansive backyard rose garden, cycling, and auto racing.

M. Scott Huddleston

In the business since 1980, Scott has been working with business owners, professionals and families by building a financial road map for greater peace of mind for his clients and their loved ones.  His designation as an Investment Advisor Representative allows him to offer fee-based investment management, mutual funds, insurance, annuities, stocks, certificates of deposit and other investment products and services.

Scott and his wife Peggy have three children, all of whom are currently scattered around the globe working with non-profit organizations and serving in the military. Both Scott and Peggy are actively involved in their local church and community. In addition to helping people with their financial needs, Scott enjoys sunny Southern California weather, traveling with his family, monthly drives with his fellow Porsche club members, biking, and an occasional game of golf.

Joel Aragon

Before joining the team at Newcastle, Joel worked as an executive assistant. Having a passion for languages, he had previously studied Spanish at the University of Madrid, Spain. Most recently, he lived and worked in Puerto Rico as an executive assistant to a Real Estate developer. Being able to incorporate his desire to help people with his love for Spanish is what continues to drive him professionally. He endeavors to utilize his background and experience in client relations to help him be a liaison for Newcastle to the Spanish-speaking community.

Although Joel was born and raised in California, he identifies as a “Citizen of the World.” One of his favorite things to do is travel. He’s been to 18 countries (and counting), mostly backpacking. His goal is to visit Iceland and New Zealand in the near future. Besides traveling, music is a huge passion for him; he goes to 2-3 concerts a month with friends. On the weekends, he enjoys bicycling and spending time with family.

Allen Taylor

Allen started his career as an officer in the United States Air Force before transitioning to work as an executive in the aerospace industry. He entered the financial planning profession as an advisor at Waddell and Reed, Inc., before becoming an independent advisor and co-founder of Fusion Point Financial in Orange, CA. After our merger with Fusion Point Financial, Allen joined the team at Newcastle Financial Advisors, Inc.

Allen is passionate about offering his clients access to world-class investment tools and financial planning expertise. He specializes in providing financial planning and portfolio diversification for individuals and businesses experiencing life transitions. After working collaboratively with his clients to formulate an appropriate risk budget, he dynamically manages their accounts within that budget. His client focus includes executives in and out of job transition, privately held businesses, professionally designated individuals and groups, advisor-directed corporate trusts, succession planning for individuals and business owners, and families in need of services such as college, retirement, long-term care and legacy savings plans.

Allen works with his wife and business partner, Sherry, which provides clients with two different perspectives to help them accomplish their goals.

His hobbies include collecting antique books, high-end audio—including the playing of vinyl records—wine tasting and landscape photography.

Sherry Taylor

Sherry began her career in the corporate world in finance and eventually transitioned into human resources where she worked with individuals to meet challenges, overcome obstacles and accomplish goals. Now, as a licensed financial advisor at Newcastle Financial Services, Sherry uses that valuable experience to help her clients with their financial planning needs.

Sherry enjoys working with executives in transition and specializes in retirement planning, strategic portfolio design, legacy planning and risk assessment. She also enjoys working with women to address their unique financial challenges.

Sherry possesses strong interpersonal communication and listening skills. She is known for forming strong personal relationships with her clients that develop and last over time, creating a safe and confidential environment that ensures trust and security. Her favorite phrase is, “I have never met anyone I couldn’t help.”

Sherry works with her husband and business partner, Allen, which provides clients with two different perspectives to help them pursue their goals.

An artist who enjoys working in several mediums, Sherry also enjoys cooking, gardening, and spending time with Allen and her son and grandchildren. Sherry is also passionate about her involvement as the Executive Board President for the Orange County Children’s Therapeutic ARTS Center (OCCTAC) in Santa Ana, a non-profit charity that provides education in the arts for all children, including at-risk youth, those with learning disabilities, and their families.

Michelle Nanney

Michelle joined Newcastle Financial Services in August 2014 to provide administrative support to Allen and Sherry Taylor. Prior to joining Newcastle, Michelle’s professional experience included helping veterans access their benefits, working as an executive assistant for both a highly successful life insurance agent and an Anglican Bishop, and project management for a major retail organization.

Michelle grew up in Seattle where she met her husband Bob. In 2004, they moved to Southern California. They have two adult daughters and are expecting their first grandchild in the spring of 2015.

Michelle enjoys working with the homeless and is actively involved in her church. She has also served as a committee chair for the Relay for Life. In all that she does, Michelle strives to improve the lives of others.
